2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto Could Arrive Next Year!?

Electrification is everywhere, so it’s no wonder that even the toughest off-roaders will soon get an all-electric powertrain. Of course, the Wrangler is no exception and it already came in two concept variants that suggest serial production is near. After the second concept car presented recently, many believe that the all-electric SUV is almost production-ready and that it could hit the market already in the next year, like the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto. At this point, the officials are still quiet.

Compared to the first version of the concept, the new model brings a lot of improvements. Of course, the most notable one was a significant powertrain increase. Also, we like that the Wrangler Magneto comes with lots of interesting design solutions, which will help it stand from the crowd once it hits serial production.

2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto Specs

The second concept has just been presented and it has brought some pretty big improvements. This particularly refers to the powertrain, as there is significantly more power than before. The new version comes with an electric motor mounted on the front axle, which puts out 625 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque, which is three times more power than before.

Interestingly, the company continues with the same design approach regarding transmission and the new concept also came with a six-speed manual gearbox. However, the first gear ratio has been changed, from 5.13 to 3.36.

When it comes to the battery pack, not many things have changed. The second concept also came with a 70-kWh pack, with cells spread all over the chassis, for better weight distribution. However, the company didn’t come up with any details regarding the max range and charging speed.

2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto Design

When it comes to the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto design, we believe that things won’t change much compared to the latest concept. The production version would be offered in a two-door layout, though you should keep in mind that the concept features a 12-inch longer wheelbase compared to the gasoline-powered two-door model.

Besides bigger dimensions, you can also notice a lot of exclusive styling details. For example, custom lightweight bumpers, carbon-fiber wheel flares, Surf Blue paint, custom carbon-fiber B-pillar, custom bikini top, and a carbon-fiber hood with blue-tinted, transparent hood etc.

More importantly, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto would come with a full load of off-road features. The concept came with goodies like an off-road suspension, a custom 3-inch lift kit, 40-inch off-road tires mounted on 20-inch wheels, Dynatrac 60 Pro-Rock front axle and a massive Pro-Rock Dynatrac 80 rear axle with a 5.38 ratio and lockers for both axles, custom driveshaft and more.

Interior

When it comes to the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto interior, we expect to see a few revisions compared to the concept. Still, the overall layout will probably remain the same. So, we would see a two-door configuration, with the cabin design that looks largely the same as in standard models, but which also comes with lots of exclusive features, such as a color scheme that combines blue and black.

We expect that the production models would feature two rows of seats and that both hard and soft roof options would be offered. The dashboard would also look the same, though we count on slightly revised gauges, which would match the model’s all-electric nature. Of course, we also count on a long list of standard and available equipment.

2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto Release Date

At this point, the officials are quiet about serial production. However, if we can trust rumors, the all-electric Wrangler would hit the market already in the next year.
