2025 Chrysler Pacifica: Another Mid-Cyle Refresh Rather Than Full Redesign

Once one of the most prominent brands in the American automotive industry, Chrysler has now come to just a single model in its offer. The Pacifica remains the lone star in the company’s range and it looks like it will get some updates in the near future. The current generation has been around for a while and even though it was updated a few years ago, it would still use a couple more changes. According to the latest reports, the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica will get updates but it won’t get a full redesign. Instead, we expect to see another major refresh of the current generation.

The company already announced plans for the next generation, which should go all-electric. However, it looks like this won’t happen so soon. So, the current more will remain in production for a few more years, but it will get updates to remain competitive in the segment where some of the key players are models like the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. This refresh is expected to bring a couple of visual novelties, along with a couple of interior updates. Finally, we expect to see a new powertrain option, a new hybrid system, to be more precise.

2025 Chrysler Pacifica Design

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica is expected to receive another major refresh. Once again, we expect to see a couple of visual updates, even though the current model still looks quite attractive. Simply, this minivan was refreshed a few years ago, when it came with a bolder and more aggressive appearance. A similar approach is expected for the next year’s changes, with the further evolutions of Pacifica’s design.

On the other hand, we don’t expect to see bigger changes in terms of mechanics. The overall chassis setup should remain the same, though we won’t exclude the possibility to see some revisions on the suspension, which would improve ride quality.

Interior

As for the interior design, the current model looks more than decent to compete in this segment. It features solid build quality and nice materials, along with quite an attractive dashboard design. Still, there’s always a chance for improvement in this aspect, just like in terms of new color schemes and new tech features. We might also see a new, bigger infotainment screen, along with the latest software updates.

Of course, the seating configuration will remain unchanged. Three rows of seats and the capacity to accommodate eight passengers. However, it’s no secret that the current model has been criticized for the quality of its seats. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see new seats installed in the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica.

2025 Chrysler Pacifica Engines

Finally, powertrain updates are some of the most anticipated changes for the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica. The current model is available in two variants, gas-only and hybrid versions, and it looks like both could be replaced. The base V6 could easily be replaced with a smaller and more efficient 2.0-liter turbo-four, with a max output of 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

Changes would happen under the hood of the hybrid version too. Instead of the current V6-based setup, we would see a more capable and more efficient system. That will probably be the same one that powers the new Dodge Hornet and the one that should power the next-generation Jeep Cherokee. We are talking about a system based on a 1.3-liter turbo-four engine, which offers quite an impressive max output of 288 horsepower – 28hp more than the current V6 Hybrid. The new system should improve fuel efficiency and also increase the EV range, probably to around 30 miles.

2025 Chrysler Pacifica Release Date and Price

We expect that the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica is going to hit the market sometime in the second half of 2024. As for the price, the current model starts at around 38.000, but the new one could bring some smaller increase.
