The famous nameplate has just been revived with the new 2022 Wagoneer and the first impressions are very good. The new SUV is capable and luxurious, enough to be considered one of the segment leaders. So, the next question that comes to mind is what to expect from the second production year. At this point, the officials are still quiet but on the other hand, unofficial reports speculate about the possibility to see a version that would come as the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk.
Those who are familiar with the Trailhawk moniker know very well that this would mean the addition of a version with even better off-road performance. We would see a model with several additional off-road upgrades, but also with some styling tweaks. Some sources even speculate about the possibility to see a new engine.
We presume that the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk would arrive in the second half of the year.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk Design
Of course, the overall design would be the same as in the standard Wagoneer. We would see a design that’s heavily based on the Ram 1500, a design that offers a great combination of refinement, luxury and capability. So, what novelties would the new 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk bring to the table?
Just like any other model that wears the “Trailhawk” badge in Jeep’s lineup, this model would also bring various off-road upgrades. The current model is already available with several upgrades, starting from adjustable suspension, two-speed transfer case, skid plates etc. So, the new model would go even further and probably offer things like locking differentials, additional skid plates, off-road tires, additional traction modes etc.

Interior
On the other hand, we don’t believe that the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk could bring some significant changes on the inside. The cabin design would probably remain the same and we don’t see that as a problem at all. Simply, the base version already features one of the nicest cabins in the class, characterized by a fantastic mix of luxury, refinement, build quality and technology.
Furthermore, this cabin also offers plenty of space. All three rows are generous with legroom and accommodate adults with ease. The cargo area also offers respectable volume. You may count on about 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind its third-row seats, 70.8 cubic feet with these seats folded, and 116.7 cubic feet of the total cargo space.
Features
As we are talking about potentially one of the most expensive versions of the SUV, there is no doubt that the list of standard equipment would be really long. The list of standard tech features would certainly include a 10.1-inch touch screen, a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, eight USB ports, satellite radio, nine-speaker stereo, keyless entry, push-button start, remote start, and tri-zone automatic climate control, while goodies like a panoramic sunroof, a 10.3-inch passenger-side touch screen and a 19-speaker stereo could also be added to the list of standard features.
When it comes to safety, the list of standard equipment should include a rearview camera, parking sensors, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and many more.
2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk Engines
Most likely, the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk would feature the same engine as the standard version. We are talking about the well-known 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which features a max output of 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. That’s definitely enough to ensure respectable performances, while the excellent 8-speed ZF automatic transmission would ensure an additional level of refinement.
Some sources also speculate about the possibility to see this version with a more powerful engine. We believe that would probably be a bigger 6.4-liter V8, which features a max output of 470 horsepower. However, the officials are still quiet about the Wagoneer Trailhawk, so there is no word about the engine from the officials either.

As we’ve just mentioned, the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer Trailhawk is just a rumor for now, so you should take its arrival with a reserve. On the other hand, rumors suggest it could arrive already by the end of this year.
