However, many drivers are also looking for exceptional off-road performances in such a package, so it’s no wonder that many sources suggest a comeback of the legendary Ramcharger. The Bronco is back, so why shouldn’t FCA do the same and offer a 2022 Dodge Ramcharger.

At this point, this is still just a rumor. The officials are still quiet but this model but today’s market is characterized by a high demand for such a vehicle. Therefore, we can speculate about the possible comeback of this legend, which was in production for full two decades.

If you wonder how the new 2022 Dodge Ramcharger would look like, the answer is quite easy. Of course, we would once again see a genuine body-on-frame SUV. It would be highly capable off the road, but also quite practical. Naturally, mechanics would be borrowed directly from the current-generation RAM 1500, which offers several amazing design solutions that make it an obvious class leader.

The new 2022 Dodge Ramcharger would use the same chassis as the popular truck, including the same suspension setup. Of course, more capable models would use the same upgrades as the RAM Rebel. We expect that the 2022 Dodge Ramcharger will feature pretty much the same engine lineup as the half-ton sibling, which means that base versions would most—likely feature a familiar 3.6-liter V6, which puts out around 305 horsepower and comes equipped with a mild-hybrid system called eTorque.

Of course, we count on a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine as well. This one is good for about 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque and it is also available with the eTorque system. Both engines come in pair with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Finally, we would expect to see a monstrous 6.2-liter Supercharged V8 Hellcat engine, which has been recently introduced in the Rebel TRX model. It features a max output of 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
